This book was absolute perfection! But of course that is exactly what I've come to expect from this author and this series.
There are a lot of ups and downs in this installment of the Connected series. The band loses it's lead singer. Twice. Dahlia is ordered to get some R&R by her doctor due to complications with her pregnancy. And Xander is thrown when he's forced to reconnect with his own blast from the past. His first, and only, love...Ivy Taylor. Throw in some secrets and lies, evil dudes of the villainous variety, questionable paternity, sexy characters, steamy scenes, and so much more and Kim Karr has an instant best seller with Mended.
In Mended the downs are bad enough to bring tears to your eyes but the ups are so great, they make it all worth it. It was amazing getting to know a different side to the infamous Nick Wilde and being there to witness Xander finally letting go of all of his anger.
I am in total and complete love with this series and I cannot wait to read the next book!
