Two Tickets to Paradise is one of the best novellas I've ever had the pleasure of reading!

Eve Noelle Parker is newly single. Her fiance', the man she thought was the love of her life, cheated on her with his secretary and broke off their engagement two weeks before Christmas, which just happens to be her birthday. Christmas has always been Eve's favorite time of year but this year, with the break up, she just doesn't seem to have her usual Christmas spirit. One day as she's leaving a local coffee shop, after drowning her sorrows in a gingerbread cappuccino, Eve runs into the very sexy Nick Christmas. Yes, that is his real name! In the spur of the moment, Eve decides to buy Nick a coffee and invite him along on a trip to paradise. Aruba to be exact. She had bought the tickets as a surprise for Tony but why let them go to waste? Yes, it's crazy. And yes, he's a stranger. But she is newly single and she has a good feeling about him. As it turns out, Nick and Eve have quite a bit in common, including their shared love of all things Christmas.

I thought everything about this book was downright charming. The storyline is fun and full of holiday cheer and not overdone in the least. I loved the few Christmas puns that the author tossed in. "I'll toss my eggnog" and "I jingled his bells" had me smiling out loud.

The characters were well written and extremely likeable. The reader has no problem connecting to them. Nick was sweet and charming with just the right amount of mystery to him to add to his appeal. Eve's character was very down to earth and real and I found myself simultaneously feeling sorry for her and begging her to go for it! Also, there's a sweet twist and secret reveal near the end that you won't want to miss!

Two Tickets to Paradise was a fast, fun read. I wish that I could unread it just so I could read it all over again for the first time. Even though technically it's a novella, there is nothing lacking in this story. I felt like I had just finished reading a novel.

I was extremely pleased to find that this is the first of a series and I can't wait to read book 2, The Paradise Bride. Two Tickets to Paradise is highly recommendable. For anyone who enjoys a good Christmas story this time of year or just a well rounded romance. Great read!
