Breaking Spades is absolute perfection in book form!
Every time I read a book by W. Ferraro I feel as if I am transported from my living room straight into Hamden with some very cool peeps whose lives are infinitely more interesting than my own.
It is impossible not to get swept up in this story. The very stylish and beautiful CeCe has found herself to be the target of a very cunning stalker. However, thanks to the ever protective Dylan Cross, CeCe has Jarod Gates, the newest Hamden Hottie, in her corner and watching her back (and her front!). Unfortunately, Jarod is the last person CeCe wants in her corner. They have a history and it's one that CeCe has tried very hard to forget but Jarod has other plans.
If you had asked me a couple of days ago who my favorite Hamden Hottie was, I would have said Dylan Cross. No hesitation. Ladies, I have switched teams and so will you! Jarod Gates is the epitome of sexy Alpha male-ness. I love everything about him and this fantastic book.
I am never disappointed when I pick up a W. Ferraro book. I know, without a doubt, that I am going to get an excellent story that I won't want to put down and a great cast of characters and Breaking Spades definitely delivers on both counts! I can't wait for our next Hamden Hottie!
